The Herd

Logan is a 18 year-old Sorrel Quarter Horse gelding and acts as if he is the “old man” of the bunch. Though his is not that old he is the tried and true mount.  Logan’s favorite activities include ranch roping and sorting cattle. He’s always up for playing with cattle and a good trail ride.

Leo is the eldest of the herd. He is a bay Arabian Mustang and enjoys working with the youngest of riders. Leo likes the calm life and enjoys a peaceful trail or arena ride.

Skittles is a 20 year-old Paint gelding. He is young at heart and is always looking for ways to be silly and play around. He is fun to ride and enjoys teaching new riders.

Kit is a 8 year-old Grulla roan Appendix mare. She is the boss of the herd but rules with calm leadership. Though she is young, she is a steady mount and enjoys the youngest riders most. She is rather large and can trot out nicely. She would prefer to take life easy and she will rarely turn down a good neck scratching.

Stanley is a 15 year-old chestnut paint Thoroughbred gelding. He is push button to go and is reliable at his job. He loves to play with cows and can be fun and playful in the pasture. He is rather tall as he is related to Secretariat, the famous race horse!

Echo is a petite 7 year-old smokey black Quarter Horse mare. She was bred and born with us and is the baby of the family.  She never tires of being loved on and will stand to be groomed all day. Echo is the first to greet you at night and the last to leave in the morning. Her sweet temperament and willing attitude have make her a fun and easy going ride.

Chico is a 11 year-old grey paint Miniature Horse. Though he is only 300 lbs, he thinks he is mighty and can often be found instigating trouble with the big horses so that they will play with him. He is kind and gentle for even the smallest of handler.
